Taofeek Fagbemi Owolabi serves as the Director of School, bringing a unique perspective to educational leadership. His philosophy is built on a diverse background shaped by over 17 years of experience in the high-impact corporate sector, complemented by 5 years of direct classroom teaching experience across all levels, from foundation to secondary school. With a strong academic background that includes an MBA in Marketing Management, Taofeek is an articulate and confident communicator dedicated to enhancing organizational performance.

His extensive corporate career, which includes leadership roles such as Head of Direct Sales and Partnerships at Avetium Technologies and Head of Business Development at ZKTECO West Africa , has honed his exceptional skills in management and strategic planning. He has a proven track record of managing successful and profitable teams. At DE-FEEK Montessori, this translates into meticulous operational planning and strategic growth initiatives, leveraging his expertise in IT sales, project management, and business process improvement to integrate cutting-edge educational technology and streamline administrative processes.

Crucially, his early career as a classroom teacher provides invaluable first-hand insight into the daily realities of teaching and learning. Alimat Fagbemi-Olatunbosun - Co-Founder, Head of School

Alimat is the Head of School at DE-FEEK MONTESSORI SCHOOL, a role she has held since May 2016. She is a bright, hardworking, and self-starting individual with a commitment to her duties and high standards of service. She excels at helping children learn fundamental skills in a supportive, nurturing environment and is known for providing positive encouragement.​​​​

She With over a decade of classroom teaching and management experience, Alimat brings a wealth of expertise to her role, including a strong understanding of the American Montessori system, skills in pre-school and early childhood intervention, and outstanding experience in implementing school curricula. Her personal strengths include effective communication, high self-motivation, and the ability to engage children through storytelling.​​​

She is a dedicated team player who has had a successful career teaching at high-profile schools in Lagos and beyond. Since joining DE-FEEK MONTESSORI, she has been responsible for designing and monitoring the implementation of the school curriculum, managing staff, and overseeing student and parent affairs. With her passion for education and a caring attitude, she has an immediate impact on children’s learning experiences

Safiyah Muhammed Mami - Senior Tutor, Basic Education and Management Staff

Sofiya is a dedicated and adaptable professional with a strong academic background in Biology from Al-Qalam University Katsina, where she graduated with a Second Class Upper. She has a proven ability to work in a competitive environment where her potential can be fully utilized.

As a Senior Tutor, Sofiya brings valuable experience in classroom management, assessing students' progress, and marking their work. Her skills in communication, empathy, and creativity make her adept at interacting well with people and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Abdul Akeem Akintoye -Senior Tutor, Islamic and Arobiyah

Abdul Akeem Akintoye serves as the Senior Tutor for Islamic and Arobiyah. With over a decade of experience in his field, he is a dedicated and hardworking educator. His passion for the subject is evident in his extensive work, which includes running his own private Madrasah and teaching in various high-profile schools across Lagos. Abdul Akeem's deep knowledge and commitment make him a valuable asset in providing a comprehensive Islamic and Arobiyah education to our students.

Zainab Ishaq Eniola - Head of Early Year Foundation

Zainab Ishaq is a creative, intelligent, and dedicated educator who serves as the Head of Early Year Foundation. She is an alumna of Al-Ummah College of Education, Osun State, where she obtained her NCE in Education Management. She holds an I'dadiyya in Arabiyah from a prestigious Arabic and Islamic studies school in Iwo, Osun State.

With specialized training in Early Childhood Education, Jolly Phonics, and the Montessori System, Zainab is exceptionally qualified to lead our foundation-level program. Having interned and trained at DE-FEEK School, she has returned to a leadership role with a deep understanding of our unique educational philosophy. Her passion for fostering a love of learning in young children makes her a valuable asset to our management team.

Shamsudeen Balogun - Head of ICT and Tech Education

Shamsudeen Balogun is a dedicated and highly experienced educator who serves as the Head of ICT and Tech Education at our school. With a B.Sc. in Computer Science and over a decade of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge in tech education and classroom teaching, spanning primary, secondary, and private tutorial classes.

He possesses a strong mastery of computer engineering, computer graphics, robotics, and coding, using languages like HTML, JavaScript, and Scratch. His expertise and passion for technology enable him to teach for impact, equipping students with the essential skills needed for a rapidly evolving digital world. Shamsudeen's commitment to delivering high-quality tech education makes him a vital asset to the DE-FEEK Montessori School management team.
